Nursing introduction
Starting off with a general introduction of what is nursing and what it consists of, nursing is one of the many professions in the healthcare department, it is a profession that envelops autonomous and collaborative care for people of all ages like for example, the families, the children, the elderly etc, and that is exactly what I like about it. Doors are open for different varieties of things and it is also possible to explore any of them. Nurses play a pretty big and demanding role in health-care. They are usually the first one to detect health emergencies, they also deliver primary health care. Now when it comes to what exactly nurses do there is a vast variety of things like, for example, preparing patients for anesthesia, administering, maintaining anesthesia during medical procedure, illness prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, administering medicine, examining patient records, doctor assistant and so much more. That is why there is no specific answer for it, it also depends on what specialty you are in. You can work in a variety of departments which can be: acute care setting, primary care, the ED, midwife, mental health, and nurse anesthesia departments. Nursing comporte way to many different departments and among those I Am personally interested in doing the Bachelor science nursing which is pretty much a Registered nurse degree and after having this degree I also want to keep going and be a nurse practitioner. A Nurse practitioner is more or less close to being a doctor because she is licensed to work independently in the clinic or Hospital.
